2025 in Review: The Year Ambient Clinical Intelligence Became Foundational

2025 was a defining year for Suki – and for the clinicians and health systems we support. We saw usage triple, expanded to more than 400 organizations, and delivered hundreds of enhancements across specialties, partners, and integrations. Along the way, Suki also got a new look and refreshed product experience that reflects the clarity and confidence of where Ambient Clinical Intelligence is headed. As the only comprehensive AI assistant that spans the entire clinical workflow, Suki continued to reduce administrative burden at scale and return more time to patient care.
Read on to see our top 10 highlights from an incredible year.
1. Introduced Suki INSIDE for Haiku and Hyperspace
We joined Epic’s Toolbox program earlier this year and launched Suki INSIDE, embedding our AI assistive capabilities directly within Haiku and Hyperspace. This provides Epic users a quick and easy way to ambiently document outpatient, inpatient, and emergency notes directly within their Epic workflows. Clinicians now have seamless access to Suki, whether they prefer the standalone Suki for Clinicians app or the fully embedded Epic experience.

2. Expanded patient summaries to Epic
Patient summaries have become one of our most adopted features. With expansion to Epic, even more users can now quickly prep for visits with AI-powered summaries that surface relevant insight from the patient’s history and prior notes.
3. Unveiled ambient order staging
We launched the industry’s first ambient prescription order staging. Clinicians can ambiently generate and stage prescription orders, saving time and reducing manual clicks. Up next: expanded support for order sets and additional EHRs.

4. Raised the bar on industry-leading note quality
High-quality notes are foundational to patient care, accurate billing, and clinician trust. Across the 150+ new features and enhancements launched this year, we focused heavily on improving note quality so clinicians can rely on documentation that is accurate, well-organized, and complete with minimal editing required. Enhancements to our backend models improve detail capture, helping clinicians spend less time editing notes and more time focusing on patients.

5. Expanded AI-enabled coding and assisted revenue cycle support
With our expanded AI-enabled coding solution, clinicians now benefit from automated generation of ICD-10, HCC, CPT, and E/M codes – available for both integrated and non-integrated EHRs. Clinicians benefit from more accurate documentation and a clear audit trail with supporting evidence, contributing to a 48 percent reduction in amended encounters and faster time to reimbursement.
6. Strengthened Suki for Partners to power more embedded AI experiences
We expanded Suki for Partners, our offering that enables EHRs, telehealth platforms, care management, and virtual care solutions to embed Suki’s Ambient Clinical Intelligence directly into their workflows. New APIs and SDKs now make integration faster and more flexible, supporting capabilities like problem-based charting, telehealth documentation, and deeper personalization. These enhancements allow partners such as AvaSure and WellSky to bring powerful AI assistance to their users, improving efficiency and elevating clinician experience across their platforms.

7. Launched the inaugural nursing consortium
This year, we launched our inaugural nursing consortium with leading health systems to co-develop a solution for nurses that works across all major EHRs, care settings, and specialties. This consortium ensures we are building with nurses, not just for them, grounding our approach in real workflows and real pain points.
We also partnered with AvaSure, a leader in AI-powered virtual care, to bring ambient documentation into its solution suite. Together, these efforts lay the foundation for reducing documentation burden for nurses—one of the most overstretched and essential parts of the care team—while ultimately improving patient safety and care quality.

8. Enhanced integration with MEDITECH Expanse
Suki became the first ambient first ambient solution fully integrated with MEDITECH Expanse, allowing clinicians to generate and send notes directly to the EHR for outpatient, emergency department, and inpatient settings. Clinicians can now effortlessly accelerate their ambient documentation process – no more copy-pasting into the EHR.

9. Launched voice-enabled editing
Clinicians can simply use their voice to edit any part of their note – no typing or manual editing needed. They can just describe the changes they need, and Suki will make the requested edits. This makes documentation even faster and more natural, reducing cognitive load and helping clinicians stay focused on the patient, not the keyboard.
10. Delivered a modern, intuitive Suki experience
We unveiled a new look and feel, featuring refreshed colors, typography, icons, and UI polish. This delivered a more consistent, modern experience for our users, while also supporting faster, more intuitive workflows.

Looking ahead to 2026
This year proved that Ambient Clinical Intelligence is foundational to clinicians’ workflows. In 2026, we’re doubling down on quality, deepening specialty support and EHR integrations, and expanding on assisted revenue cycle and clinical reasoning capabilities that support the entire end-to-end clinical workflow so clinicians can focus on patient care. Thank you to every clinician, partner, and organization who joined us on this journey. And this is only the beginning of what Ambient Clinical Intelligence will unlock.
