Senior Hires Across Operations, Sales, and Engineering Will Support Continued Commercial Growth

REDWOOD City, Calif. – October 27, 2020 – Suki, the leader in voice AI for health care, announced today the expansion of the company’s leadership team, as well as a slate of new product capabilities for its voice-enabled clinical digital assistant. This rapid expansion and continued technological improvement come at a time of incredible commercial momentum for the company, and follow the release of “Suki Speech Service,” an industry-leading voice platform, as well as the company’s $20 million Series B funding round.

Tracy Rentz, formerly Vice President of Implementation at Evolent Health, joins Suki as the Vice President of Customer Success and Operations to lead all customer operations, with a particular focus around deploying new Suki customers. Brian Duffy brings over 20 years of sales experience to Suki, joining the team as Director of Sales-East, after having most recently served as Regional Director at Qventus, Inc. Brent Jarkowski will also join Suki’s sales team this November as the Director of Sales-West, bringing over 15 years of experience in strategic relationship management. Brent joins Suki after serving as Senior Client Development Director at Kyyrus. Together, Brian and Brent will head the company’s efforts in building new partnerships across the country. And Josh Margulies, who previously served as the Director of Integrated Brand Marketing for the Jacksonville Jaguars, will serve as Suki’s new Senior Director of Field Marketing. They will be vital additions to the team as the company adds new commercial partners and expands Suki’s user base.

Suki also added key members to its engineering and product teams to support the continued development of the technology powering its voice-enabled clinical digital assistant. Jon Niswander will serve as Suki’s new Vice President of Security & Compliance, bringing over 15 years of experience implementing innovative solutions for startups. Candice Tse also joins Suki as the Director of Product, previously having served as the Head of Product for Mango Health. In total, Suki has increased the size of its team by 20 percent since closing its most recent funding round to support the company’s market growth and will continue actively building out the team.

Suki’s growing team has been hard at work developing new product capabilities, including new voice editing capabilities along with a backend architecture overhaul which reduces overhead processing time by 99 percent. Now, physicians can edit note content via voice command, and Suki’s newly improved architecture means that all changes happen instantaneously.

“This is an exciting time at Suki—we are growing our team, forging new partnerships, and continuing to significantly improve what is already world-class technology,” said Punit Soni, Founder and CEO of Suki. “The timing of these new additions to Suki’s leadership team will be critical to support this period of commercial expansion as more physicians and health executives realize the value of Suki to save time, preserve revenue, and enable doctors to focus on what’s most important: the patient.”
